Do I need an account?

No. ReplaceHQ works locally without an account. Account creation, cloud backup, and sync are not part of the current release.

Where are my items stored?

Tracked items, schedules, locations, history, preferences, and app-owned photos are stored in ReplaceHQ’s private app container on your device.

What happens to a scanned photo?

Only the photo you deliberately choose for AI identification may be resized, compressed, and sent through ReplaceHQ’s Supabase Edge Function to OpenAI. Your complete inventory and replacement history are not sent. Read AI Identification for details.

Why could ReplaceHQ not identify an item?

The photo may not contain enough visible detail, the provider may be unavailable, or the result may not meet ReplaceHQ’s validation rules. Try another well-lit photo or use Add Manually. Manual tracking never depends on AI.

How many items are free?

You can keep up to three active tracked items for free. Replacing, editing, and retaining their history remain available. Saving a fourth active item presents ReplaceHQ Pro.

How much is ReplaceHQ Pro?

The configured United States prices are $3.99 monthly or $19.99 annually, with no introductory trial. Apple shows the controlling price, currency, billing period, and renewal terms before purchase.

How do I cancel ReplaceHQ Pro?

Open iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → ReplaceHQ, then select Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.

How do I request a refund?

Apple processes App Store billing and refund requests. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID used for purchase.

Why did a reminder not arrive?

Check ReplaceHQ notification settings and iOS Settings → Notifications → ReplaceHQ. The schedule remains visible in the app even when notification permission is off. Do not use ReplaceHQ as the sole reminder for safety-critical obligations.

How do I delete my data?

Delete an individual item from Item Detail, or open Settings → Delete all local data. Read the full deletion instructions.
